9th Muharram processions are going on all over the country, Security has been tightened.

  (Sindh Tribune) : Processions and gatherings are being organized across the country today on 9th Muharram to pay homage to the great sacrifice of the grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions.

 The main procession of 9th Muharram in Karachi will start from Nishtar Park while Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi will address the Central Majlis before the procession and describe the virtues and sufferings of Ahlul Bayt.

 Afterwards, the main procession will leave from Majlis Nishtar Park which will pass through its designated routes and end at Hussainiya Iranians Kharadar. The participants of the procession will offer noon prayers in front of Imambargah Ali Raza on MA Jinnah Road.

 Strict security arrangements have been made on the occasion of the main procession, the procession route and surrounding streets and roads have been cordoned off with containers while police and rangers have also been deployed for the security of the procession and CCTV cameras of the procession.
