Salaries should be increased, Government employees protest in front of Parliament House.


 (Sindh Tribune) : The protest outside Parliament House was attended by government employees and leaders of trade unions from across the country, including PML-N leader Khawaja Asif, Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Senator Usman Kakar and National Party Senator Merkbir Shahi.

Addressing the protesters, Khawaja Asif said that this government is leading the country to disaster, government employees have been waiting for salary increase for 7 years, now politicians have declared war, until Pakistan gets rid of this tyrannical government. We will continue our struggle.

 Khawaja Asif said that the dignity of the vote means the dignity of the people, we will be the voice of government employees in the assembly and the struggle will continue till the dignity of the vote is restored.

 On this occasion, Senator Merkbir Shahi said that this government has kept the minimum salary at Rs 12,000 and the bill comes to Rs 22,000. The present government has decided to stifle the employees.

 He said that they used to say that they would give one crore jobs, they should be ashamed, the hearth of the people is cold, when the poor come out, the heir of Bani Gala will not find a place to hide.
