PPP's Agha Rafiullah resigns after PDM announced resignations of their Party members.


 (Sindh Tribune) : Agha Rafiullah says that he resigns from the National Assembly on the orders of the leadership.

 Agha Rafiullah is a PPP member from NA-238 Malir Karachi.

He said that he was a lowly activist of Pakistan Peoples Party and was proud to be involved in the struggle for restoration of democracy and overthrow of the elected government.

 It may be recalled that in a press conference after the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) summit, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the alliance, directed the members of the national and provincial assemblies of all parties to submit their resignations to the party leadership.

He directed the members of National and Provincial Assemblies of all parties to submit their resignations to the party leaders by December 31.

 Earlier, National Assembly member Afzal Khokhar from Lahore and Member Provincial Assembly Saif Khokhar have also submitted their resignations to the PML-N leadership while MNA Rana Munawar Ghous from Sargodha has also tendered his resignation to the party leadership.
