Flour prices have risen further in the country, with sugar shortages at utility stores

(Sindh Tribune) : In Quetta, the price of flour from Karachi has been further increased and the price of flour has been increased by Rs 4 per kg and the price of 10 kg bag by Rs 40.

Quetta's bakers have shut down ovens across the city, demanding an increase in the price of bread as flour becomes more expensive.

The bakers say that it is not possible to sell 320 grams of bread at Rs. 20, let alone Rs. 30.

In Peshawar, the price of 85 kg sack of flour has reached Rs. 6,200 and a 20 kg bag of fine flour is available in the market at Rs.

On the other hand, sugar is not available at most of the utility stores in Karachi and Lahore. Citizens are forced to move from one utility store to another in search of sugar.

In Lahore, sugar is being sold at Rs 100 to Rs 105 per kg. Even after taking notice of the Prime Minister, the situation has not improved.
