According to PTI, Mumbai police have arrested Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, for allegedly inciting an interior designer to commit suicide. According to reports, Mumbai police reached Arnab's house in the early hours of the morning and tried to arrest him. There are also reports of coercion with Arnab.
According to ANI news agency, Republic TV has shared footage on its channel in which Mumbai police are seen entering Arnab's house and forcing Arnab inside the house. ANI has shared some screenshots in which it can be seen that a police officer is holding Arnab's hand and pulling it. Arnab Goswami says the police used force against him.
Arnab Goswami accused the Mumbai police of making sensational allegations. Beaten with father-in-law, son and wife. Arnab accused the Mumbai police of bullying him and said he was prevented from talking to the family. Medication was also stopped. Arnab Goswami was then taken away by the Mumbai police.
