Skin whitening creams use skin-damaging chemicals, Zartaj Gul said.

(Sindh Tribune)  :  Zarta J Gul said that whitening creams also make people feel inferior through advertisements.

 Shee said that cosmetics companies have till 2020 to remove the use of mercury from their products or to use them in accordance with international standards.

 The Minister of State said that Mercury is a harmful chemical and its abuse is very dangerous. Under the Mina Marta Convention, we will make Pakistan mercury free.

 She said that mercury free devices would also be introduced in the health sector of Pakistan.
