PDM Ready to show power at Gujranwala today.

 (Sindh Tribune) : Preparations are in the final stages for a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties in Gujranwala, while political activists from various cities continue to arrive.

 The PDM is going to hold a rally today at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala, a stronghold of PML-N, for which arrangements are being finalized.

 Leaders of other parties including Maryam Nawaz, Bilawal Bhutto and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will also address the PDM meeting.

 Maryam Nawaz and Maulana Fazlur Rehman will reach Gujranwala from Lahore to attend the meeting. The caravans of both the parties will meet in Kamonki while Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will reach Gujranwala from Lala Musa.

 Police have cordoned off the roads leading to Jinnah Stadium, and containers have been set up at Gul Road, Munir Chowk, Sialkot Road and Gondnawala Gate.

 In addition, containers have been set up on the roads coming from Satellite Town, which is causing difficulties to pedestrians heading towards Jinnah Stadium.
