(Sindh Tribune) : According to NEPRA officials, the increase in electricity prices has been made in the form of monthly fuel adjustment which will be applicable on consumer bills from this month and will impose an additional burden of more than Rs 10 billion on consumers this month.
NEPRA increased electricity prices by RS. 0.83 per unit.
NEPRA officials said that the increase in electricity prices would be applicable to all consumers besides Lifeline. This increase has been made in the context of the July 2020 adjustment. NEPRA has issued notification of increase in electricity prices.
It may be recalled that at the end of last month, NEPRA had also approved to increase the price of electricity for consumers by Rs 0.62
