Donald Trump and his wife have contracted the coronavirus.

US President Donald Trump confirmed the corona virus test positive via Twitter. Trump said in his tweet that his wife Melania also tested positive for corona, quarantined herself and they will both recover soon.

Earlier in the day, Hope Hooks, a key adviser to the US president, tested positive for Corona, after which Trump and his wife quarantined themselves. According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, Hope Hicks, a 31-year-old US adviser, is considered one of Trump's closest advisers and accompanies the US president on frequent visits. Before the Corona test came positive, HomeHooks traveled with Trump on a plane and accompanied him in a TV debate.
