(Sindh Tribune) : A blast in the Hazar Ganji area of Quetta killed two people and injured several others. Police sources said that several motorcycles caught fire after the blast and several people were injured.
Sources said that the explosives were planted in the motorcycle and law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the scene and started gathering evidence.
It may be recalled that a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM), an alliance of opposition parties, is also underway in Quetta and NICTA had also issued a threat alert in Balochistan.
The Balochistan Home Ministry has banned double riding of motorcycles in Quetta today in view of the PDM meeting and also shut down mobile and internet services.
