The Sindh government declared the KPT underpass safe and opened it.

 (Sindh Tribune) : Karachi Traffic Police had closed the KPT Anders Pass to traffic on Wednesday night, expressing concern over the strength of the river, which was flooded in recent rains.

 Traffic police officials said that technical experts would inspect the underpass after which it would be decided whether the underpass was usable or not.

 Sindh government spokesman Murtaza Wahab announced the opening of KPT underpass.

 Murtaza Wahab said on Twitter that this morning engineers including NED University officials inspected the KPT underpass and confirmed that there was no defect in the structural frame of the underpass so the underpass is safe for traffic which  Has now been opened.
