Informed sources said that the summary includes the names of Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Lt. Gen. Nadeem Zaki Manj and Lt. Gen. Nadeem Ahmed Anjum. General Sahir Shamshad Mirza is currently the Chief of General Staff, General Nadeem Zaki Manj is currently the Director General Strategic Plans Division and General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum is currently the Commandant Command and Staff College Quetta.
Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed is likely to be made Corps Commander of Karachi as the six Corps Commanders of the Pakistan Army who are due to retire on December 10 include the current Corps Commander of Karachi, Lt. Gen. Humayun Aziz.
In this regard, when Defense Ministry spokesman Ayaz Khan was contacted, he first said that he would find out about it and tell it later.
