 (Sindh Tribune) : Due to the Corona Lockdown, the closed educational institutions started reopening in phases after 7 months, after which the ninth and tenth class classes started along with the universities and colleges across the country.

 Ninth and tenth grade educational activities have started in colleges, universities and schools across the country including Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad.

 The Prime Minister has directed to open all schools in accordance with the Public Health Security Rules.

Corona SOPs are being strictly enforced in educational institutions, signs have been erected at the entrances to keep social distance between the students while walk-through disinfection gates have been installed, sprays and sanitizers have also been installed on the occasion. has been.

 Schools will be disinfected on a daily basis, with some institutions continuing a series of online classes during the lockdown and taking exams in which successful candidates will continue their education in the new semester.

 Punjab's educational institutions were closed on March 13 after the Corona cases escalated. During this time, the proposal to reopen educational institutions was considered three times but no final decision could be reached.

 Corona's days were counted as summer holidays and holidays were declared till June, while the decision on the escalation of Corona cases was postponed to August 15 and lasted till September 15.

Phased classes have now started under SOPs, teachers and students will come wearing masks, social distance will be maintained in the classrooms and training has also been provided to the teachers in this regard.

 Students of degree programs in colleges and universities in Punjab will be called in phases and most of the students will take classes online. Special children's educational institutions will be open from 8 am to 11 am.

 In view of the decision of the federal government, educational institutions have also been opened in Balochistan in phases from today.
