PM refused Bajwa's resignation, Asim Bajwa should continue his work.

 (Sindh Tribune): According to the Prime Minister's House, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa to continue his work as Special Assistant.

 According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is satisfied with the evidence and explanation given by Asim Bajwa on the news regarding his assets, so Asim Bajwa should continue his work.

 It may be recalled that former DG ISPR and Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa had issued an explanation on the news of journalist Ahmad Noorani and denied the allegations leveled against him and his family.

 In his statement, Asim Bajwa said that he has served Pakistan with honor and dignity and will continue to do so.

 However, he apologized for continuing to serve as special assistant after clarification and evidence, and announced his resignation.

 Asim Bajwa said that he would continue to work as Chairman C-Pac Authority as C-Pac needs important attention at this time.
