PM Imran Khan took stern notice of the rape of a five-year-old girl and a woman was gang raped on the motorway.

(Sindh Tribune) : Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken stern notice of the incidents of gang rape of a 5-year-old girl in Karachi and a woman on the motorway near Lahore.

 The Prime Minister sought a report from the concerned IGs on the incidents and said that the protection of women was the first priority and responsibility of the government and such brutality and bestiality could not be allowed in any civilized society.

 The Prime Minister further said that such incidents are against our social values ​​and a disgrace to society.

 The Prime Minister directed that those involved in the incident be brought to book as soon as possible and that they be punished.

 It may be recalled that the woman's car was stopped on the Gujjarpura Motorway in Lahore yesterday when she ran out of petrol. Meanwhile, two armed men broke the glass of the car and forcibly took the woman and her children down from the motorway.  

 The accused also robbed the woman when the vehicle was stopped. The woman also called the motorway police but the motorway police allegedly said that no one was on emergency duty.

 The woman was also tortured before and during the rape.
