(Sindh Tribune) :  The anti-terrorism amendment bill passed by the National Assembly was rejected by the Senate.  The Senate met under the chairmanship of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani and presented the Anti-Terrorism Bill passed by the National Assembly on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).  The opposition voted against the anti-terrorism amendment bill, with 31 votes in favor and 34 against, after which the bill was rejected by a majority.  However, another cooperative society bill related to FATF was introduced in the Senate which was passed while Jamaat-e-Islami voted against the bill.  It may be recalled that the National Assembly had yesterday passed the third Anti-Terrorism Amendment Bill 2020 related to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) by a majority vote.  According to the Anti-Terrorism Third Amendment Bill 2020, the investigating officer will, with the permission of the court, use certain techniques to track the supply of funds to terrorism within 60 days.  included.
