Lieutenant General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information, announced his resignation on Thursday evening in a program on a private TV channel. A recent report by journalist Ahmad Noorani said that Asim Bajwa and his family's financial resources increased as Asim Bajwa rose to important positions. However, Asim Bajwa has vehemently denied all these allegations. In a detailed press release on Thursday evening, he gave a detailed response to the allegations against him.
