The court said that Cynthia de Richie should inform all the allegations in writing till the next hearing.
Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah remarked, "We will ensure that the petitioner gets full justice."
Cynthia' Lawyer said that the Home Ministry did not mention or hear the reasons for denying the visa, to which Justice Athar Minallah said that it was not necessary to mention the reasons for denying the visa.
Justice Athar Minallah said that visas of Pakistanis are denied every day without giving any reason.
He said that your ground is that cases related to you are being heard in the lower courts.
The Interior Ministry had on September 2 ordered Cynthia de Ritchie to leave Pakistan in 15 days and the US citizen's visa extension application was also rejected.
Cynthia de Ritchie had challenged the Interior Ministry's order in court, saying that despite all legal requirements being met, my application was rejected, and the court barred the Interior Ministry from deporting me.
Cynthia Ritchie also said in her petition that the Home Ministry had told the High Court that I was neither involved in anti-state nor illegal activities, I have also filed cases in Pakistan, cases are also pending against me.
The US citizen said that not extending the visa would give the impression that the Interior Ministry was deliberately preventing him from pursuing the case.
Now Chief Justice Islamabad Justice Athar Minallah has stopped the Interior Ministry from deporting Santa de Richie.
The court has issued notices to the Home Ministry, DG FIA and other parties on Santha Richie's case seeking a reply.
