A woman was gang-raped on a motorway in Gujjarpura area of ​​Lahore.




 (Sindh Tribune):  Police in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, have registered a case for allegedly raping and robbing her near a motorway.


 According to an FIR lodged at Gujjarpura police station in Lahore, the car of a woman relative of the petitioner, a resident of Gujranwala, had run out of petrol near Krol Jungle and she was waiting for help.

 According to the FIR, the petitioner's relative said that while she was waiting for petrol, two armed men between the ages of 30 and 35 came, took her and her children out of the vehicle, raped them and raped them.  They snatched cash and jewelery and fled.

 Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has taken notice of the incident and demanded a report from IG Police Punjab.

 The plaintiff told police that when he reached the spot where the petrol had run out, he saw that the windshield was broken and there were blood stains on it. I saw them coming with children from the forest.

 According to local media, a spokesman for the Motorway Police clarified that the place where the woman was raped was not within the purview of the Motorway Police. According to the spokesperson, Ring Road Motorway is not within the jurisdiction of the police.
