A passenger van caught fire on the Super Highway near Nooriabad, killing 13 passengers.


 (Sindh Tribune) : A fire broke out in a passenger van on Karachi Super Highway, killing 13 passengers

 A passenger van coming from Hyderabad to Karachi suddenly caught fire near Nooriabad as a result of which 13 passengers were burnt to death while 6 others were injured.

 A spokesman for the motorway police said the injured had been rushed to Nooriabad Hospital for medical treatment, including a child, but the cause of the fire was not immediately clear.

 A passenger van traveling from Hyderabad to Karachi met with an accident on Super Highway. After the tie rod broke and overturned, the vehicle caught fire. Thirteen passengers were burnt to death and six others were injured.

 According to the Motorway Police, a passenger van on the Super Highway overturned due to a broken tie rod. After the accident, the vehicle caught fire. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained. There were 20 to 22 people in the vehicle.  has been transferred.

 According to Edhi officials, the van fell off the road after several maneuvers and fell into the mud. The bodies are being removed after cutting the van.

 According to an eyewitness, the door of the vehicle in front of the van broke down and an accident occurred in an attempt to save the vehicle. After going into the mud, the van caught fire. I managed to get out of the vehicle due to broken glass.

 Edhi ambulances and rescue teams rushed to the spot after receiving information about the accident. Motorway police said that five injured people have been shifted to Nooriabad hospital.

 Motorway police say a one-year-old girl miraculously survived a passenger van crash while the van driver was also safe in the crash.

 Social activist Saad Edhi said that rescue operation has been completed at the site of Nooriabad accident. So far 13 bodies have been recovered in the van accident and 5 people have been rescued in critical condition.

 The driver of the van involved in the accident said that before the accident, the bonnet of the oncoming vehicle came out and hit the windscreen of my car. After the bonnet hit the windscreen, I could not control the car.

 In a statement to the motorway police, the driver said the vehicle went out of control and crashed, setting it on fire.
