(Sindh Tribune): India's Supreme Court has taken action against two tweets of social leader and lawyer Prashant Bhushan, calling them insulting.
The Supreme Court sought an unconditional pardon from Prashant Bhushan, which he rejected.
Prashant Bhushan said that freedom of expression also allows criticism on members of the judiciary.
The court fined him Rs. 1 for not seeking an unconditional apology from the social leader.
The apex court said in its order that if Prashant Bhushan failed to pay the fine by September 15, he would face three months imprisonment.
