Pakistan's gift to Balochistan on Independence Day; Hayat Baloch, a student, was shot dead by the FC.

(Sindh Tribune): Police in Balochistan Province's Turbat District have registered a murder case against an "unidentified" Frontier Corps official for allegedly killing student Hayat Baloch.

The case has been registered on the complaint of Hayat Baloch's brother Murad Saeed. Murad Saeed has taken a stand in the FIR that he was on duty at around 12 noon at the time of the incident when he was informed that his younger brother  An FC official opened fire and killed him.  According to the FIR, when Murad Baloch reached the said place, his brother Hayat's body was lying on the south side of Latpat Road in blood.  When I asked, my father said that two FC personnel came to the garden and took Hayat to the road.

Hayat Baloch's alleged murder on Thursday came after an explosion in front of a Frontier Corps vehicle. According to the plaintiff's case, his father told him,  He hung upside down and shot himself with his rifle.

The FIR said that the accused could be identified by his father and mother when they came forward as they both witnessed the incident before their eyes.

Earlier, SSP Turbat Najeeb Pindarani while talking to journalist Mohammad Zubair had said that the initial inquiry conducted by the FC had found that the officer was overstepping his authority, exceeding his authority and speeding.  He reacted in a way that he shouldn't have.

He said that according to preliminary information, Hayat Baloch was working in the garden near the place where the blast took place and this may be the reason why the official thought that Hayat Baloch was responsible for the blast.

"When the incident was reported to the police, the FC officials were informed of the details and after their inquiry, they handed over the officer involved in the incident to the police," he added.

SSP Turbat Najeeb Pindarani said that a case would be registered on the statement of Hayat Baloch's father.

According to police, Hayat Baloch's father is an eyewitness to the incident and an attempt was made to get a statement from him on Thursday afternoon but he was not in a position to give a statement at the time.

"We have asked Hayat Baloch's relatives to report the incident to the police whenever their father deems fit."

He said that the demands of justice would be met in any case by filing a case against Hayat Baloch's father.  In which we have the support of the Frontier Corps.
