Netizens pay homage as Twitter trend to Shaheed Bashir khan Qureshi on his birthday.

 (Sindh Tribune) : Shaheed Bashir Khan Qureshi's birthday is being celebrated as Flag Day by Jai Sindh Qaumi Mahaz and other parties in Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Nawabshah and other areas of Sindh.

 In this regard, Sindhi Netizens are paying homage to Shaheed Bashir Khan Qureshi on the occasion of his birthday through Twitter trend.  In this regard, Sindhi netizens participating in the trend on Twitter have written that Shaheed Bashir Qureshi was a brave grandson of Sindh.  Another Sindhi youth wrote that on this day a Sindh Surya was born in Sindh.  Young people, writers, intellectuals and people from all schools of thought paid homage to the beloved leader of Sindh, Shaheed Bashir Qureshi, on the top trend on Twitter.

 Bashir Khan Qureshi, born on August 10, 1959, is considered one of the leading leaders of the Sindhi Nationalist Movement.  He played an active role in the movement for an independent Sindh from the platform of Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz Party after participating in student politics.

 Prior to his martyrdom, Bashir Qureshi had led a historic march called 'Sindh Freedom March' in Karachi, Sindh, which was attended by an estimated millions of people.

 He called on the United Nations in the Sindh Freedom March to help the people of Sindh and Balochistan while respecting their views on independence.

 Bashir Khan Qureshi died on April 7, 2012, while Sindhi nationalist circles claim that he was martyred by poisoning by state institutions.
