(Sindh Tribune) : After rains in Sindh, canals and streams continue to flood, resulting in flooding of standing crops on many acres. At Rajab Rind, a village near Sita Road, a 50-foot-deep crop was submerged and the crop was submerged in the surrounding area. The crops were drowned while the peasants were engaged in self-help. Hundreds of acres of standing crops were submerged when the Lund Mine was found 30 feet deep near Dehi Khairo. Despite reports that rescue officials had not arrived, villagers were busy evacuating their homes. Affected farmers say that the mine has been flooded due to over-discharge of water, causing loss of millions of rupees.
