(Sindh Tribune) : According to the wife of senior reporter of Geo News Ali Imran Syed, 14 hours have passed but nothing could be found about Ali Imran Syed. He had left home saying he would be back in half an hour.
He said that Ali Imran had gone from his house to a nearby bakery but had not returned.
Ali Imran Syed's brother Talib Rizvi said that Ali Imran had left the house between 7 and 8 pm yesterday and did not return even after a long time. A search was launched while Ali Imran also left his mobile phone at home.
The family members said that the Karachi Police Chief and DIG East have been informed about the disappearance of Ali Imran Syed while a petition regarding his disappearance has been submitted to the Sachal police station.
On the other hand, SHO Sachal Police Station Haroon Korai told Geo News that a request for the incident has been received and an attempt will be made to inspect the spot and get CCTV footage from the spot.
He said that such an incident had never taken place in the area before and efforts would be made to resolve the case by gathering evidence.
