Eid Milad-un-Nabi is being celebrated with religious fervor all over the country.

 (Sindh Tribune) : On the occasion of the birth of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), 12 Rabi-ul-Awal is being celebrated all over the country with religious fervor, devotion and respect.  Today, the day started with Fajr prayers followed by Durood and Salam ceremonies and special prayers were offered for the security and prosperity of the country and peace and order.  31 cannons were saluted in the federal capital Islamabad while 21 cannons were saluted in the provincial capitals.  On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations, a well-armed contingent of Pakistan Army started the day by saluting 21 cannons at Lahore Cantt Martyrs Memorial.  On this occasion, the atmosphere resounded with the enthusiastic slogans of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army, Takbir Allah Akbar. Senior officers of the Pakistan Army also participated in the ceremony.  On the occasion of Happy Birthday, streets, highways and bazaars across the country have been beautifully decorated and poems are being recited in honor of Nabi Mehraban from town to village.
